As seen in the scene where she prepares herself to face press questions on the potential Conservative victory and her appointment as Britain's first female Prime Minister. Margaret Thatcher's term as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom began in 1979, and ended with her resignation on the 28th November 1990.
