FEB.14, 1911/COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. CO.' and 'SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/U.S.A.' and with flaming bomb acceptance mark, and the right side marked with a spread wing eagle and 'MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY.'; blued steel frame marked on the left side 'UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT PROPERTY' and with flaming bomb acceptance mark; checkered diamond walnut grips, two magazines, one marked 'G' on the toeplate the other with a lanyard loop; with red velvet lined walnut display case with a Colt Custom medallion on the lid. Barrel lg. 8 1/2 in. **Successful bidder must arrange pickup/transfer through a federal firearms licensee.** Condition: Bluing is approx. 50% with most of the thinning on the underside of the frame and grip, grips have minor wear, bright bore with sharp rifling, action functions properly.
