Seven Continental Bayonets All 19th Century Comprising two Austrian 1858 pattern bayonets of Enfield type, by J.K. Bleckmann, Murrzuschlag, one dated 1864; two Turkish contract Mauser bayonets, both dated 1309 AH for 1891 AD, in their steel-mounted leather scabbards, one with leather frog; two French Chassepot bayonets, one in fine condition, the blade with Bitschwiller manufactory details along the back, and ribbed brass grip, the guard numbered 'B14927', in original steel scabbard numbered to correspond, the latter in poor condition (hilt mounts and scabbard pitted); and a socket bayonet, possibly Bavarian, no. 95594 (7) The first 57.9 cm. blade For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
