Trace d'une peinture à l'eau de couleur vert forêt. Couche de peinture enlevée postérieurement. Insigne latéral de la 6ème Airborne, présentant quelques marques d'usures après le décapage de la peinture à l'eau. Coiffe intérieure complète. Fabrication BMB 1942, taille 7. A noter une certaine usure et patine de la pièce. Illustrée page 67 du livre 75 objets du Débarquement de Normandie. Attestation originale de provenance signée de Bertrand Paris jointe avec un exemplaire de l'ouvrage. Helmet shell made of metal, 80% original paint. Trace of forest green in water-based paint. Layer of paint removed later. Insignia of the 6th Airborne on the side, showing some marks of wear after the stripping of the water-based paint. The liner is complete. Manufactured BMB 1942, size 7. Note some wear and tear and discoloration. An illustration can be found on page 67 in the book 75 objects of the Landings in Normandy.
