Six Plates with Bird Decoration
Meissen, 19th century
Deeply hollowed form, in the center different chicken colonies on a landscape base, such
as peacocks, turkeys, pheasants, domestic chickens, on the border butterflies and insects,
at the edge gold ornamental arches. Porcelain with colored painting, probably house
painting. At the bottom large underglazed blue sword mark with two grinding lines. H. 4,5
cm, Ø 23,3 cm. - One plate with restored border.

Tief gemuldete Form, im Spiegel unterschiedliche Hühnervölker auf Landschaftssockel, wie
Pfauen, Truthähne, Fasane, Haushühner, auf der Fahne Schmetterlinge und Insekten, am Rand
Goldornamentbögen. Porzellan mit farbiger Bemalung, wohl Hausmalerei. Am Boden große
unterglasurblaue Schwertermarke mit zwei Schleifstrichen. H. 4,5 cm, Ø 23,3 cm. - Ein
Teller mit restaurierter Fahne.
