Two Chinese Guardian Lions as Incense Figures
Probably France, Samson, 19th century
Hollow figures supported on the front paws with raised hind quarters, the mouth wide open
for the extraction of the incense essences. Porcelain painted in brown tones. One of them
with blue mark imitating Meissen. H. 11,5 and 17 cm. - Restored.

Auf die Vorderpfoten gestützte Hohlfiguren mit erhobener Hinterpartie, das Maul zum Abzug
der Räucheressenzen weit aufgerissen. Porzellan mit Bemalung in Brauntönen. Einer innen
mit Meissen imitierender Blaumarke. H. 11,5 und 17 cm. - Restauriert.
