Großmutter und ihr Enkelkind. Die Dame mit grauem Kleid mit breitem, weißen Kragen und Haube. Gouachemalerei, wohl auf Elfenbein. Seitlich rechts signiert "Dubois". In eine runde, goldmontierte Horntabatière montiert. Altersspuren, min. besch.
Provenienz: Ehemals Sammlung Dr. Leo Catzenstein, Hannover, Vater der Künstlerin Ellen Catzenstein. Im Besitz seiner Erben bis 2001. Auktion Christie's London, 6. November 2001, Lot 79. Seither deutscher Privatbesitz.
