"Fischerkaten unter Bäumen"
Öl auf Malpappe, verso Nachlaßstempel, ohne Jahr (ca. 1930), Maße: 39,5x48,5 cm, Rahmen
Erich Kliefert wurde im Juni 1893 in Berlin geboren. Von 1910 bis 1914 studierte er am Königlichen Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin bei Max Kutschmann, Max Geri und Emil Orlik. Nach Kriegsende besuchte Kliefert von 1919 bis 1921 die Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums Berlin und der Staatlichen Kunstschule Berlins. Ab 1921 war Erich Kliefert als Kunsterzieher, Grafiker und Maler in Stralsund tätig. Von nun an wirkte er über 7 Jahrzehnte in Stralsund und gilt aufgrund der Vielzahl hier entstandener Werke als Chronist der Stadt und der Inseln Rügen und Hiddensee. - Erich Kliefert was born in June 1893 in Berlin. From 1910 to 1914 he studied at the Royal Museum of Applied Arts Berlin under Max Kutschmann, Max Geri and Emil Orlik. From 1919 to 1921, after the end of the war, Kliefert visited the teaching institute of the Museum of Applied Arts Berlin and the State Art Scool Berlin. From 1921 Erich Kliefert worked as an art teacher, graphic artist and painter in Stralsund. From now on he worked for over 7 decades in Stralsund and is due to the large number of works created here as a chronicler of the city and the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee.
